75Hz Refresh Rate
Get the upper edge! With a 75 Hz refresh rate, the display panel draws 75 frames each second. 75 Hz refresh rate is 25% faster than what is offered on most entry level displays at 60 Hz, while still being affordable and delivering those extra frames gamers need to beat their opponents.
Adaptive sync
Adaptive Sync aligns your monitor’s vertical refresh rate with the frame rate delivered by your GPU, making your gameplay and casual gaming experience even more fluid by eliminating stuttering, tearing and judder. This feature is also useful when enjoying videos and other visual media, for a smoother entertainment.
Display Port
DisplayPort offers ultra-fast digital audio and video transmission without quality loss or input lag. Quickly and easily connect a range of devices to your screen, including your computer, laptop, media player, game console and more. It’s perfect for professionals as well as the most demanding home users.
Pivot function
Thanks to its pivot function, your monitor can be rotated by 180° from landscape into portrait mode, especially useful for desktop publishing.
Full Ergonomics
Feel the comfort! AOC’s height, tilt and swivel-adjustable stands help you find the most comfortable and healthy position.
Height adjustable Stand
Raise or lower the screen to suit each individual’s height and seating preferences. The easy-to-adjust stand ensures hours of comfort.
Vesa Mount
AOC’s Ergo Base stands bring versatility, sturdiness and ease of use in one package. But do you still want to use your wall mount or multi-monitor setup using desk mounts? VESA mounts bring you the uppermost flexibility. Upside-down, in pivot mode, on top of each other, attach your monitor wherever you want using 3rd party mounts and stands thanks to the VESA mount option.
Kensington Lock
Kensington Lock is an anti-theft system, comprising a metal-reinforced hole in the body of the respective device, to use with a metal cable secured with a key/lock system. Kensington locks enable you to secure your AOC monitor during a LAN event, an organisation, or wherever you carry it.
How to use
Place the monitor on a stable desk surface and adjust the height, tilt and pivot to align the screen with your eye level to maintain a neutral posture. Enable Low Blue Mode in the monitor menu for extended viewing sessions and activate Adaptive Sync if supported by your graphics source to reduce tearing and motion blur. Use the anti-glare surface by positioning the display to minimize direct reflections from windows or overhead lights.
Recommendations
The AOC 242P2QM is suited for office work, general productivity and home use where comfortable ergonomics and eye care features are important; pair it with a compatible GPU or docking station to utilize Adaptive Sync and the available connectivity fully.
