The Megasat DVB-T 40 is an active outdoor DVB-T/DVB-T2 antenna designed to improve terrestrial digital TV reception. It provides a gain of 28 dB in a compact black housing (110 mm × 22 mm × 190 mm) and can be powered either by the included AC adapter or by a DVB-T receiver that supplies 5 V.

How to use

Mount the antenna outdoors in a location with clear line of sight to the transmitting towers, using appropriate fixtures. Connect the antenna coaxial cable to the DVB-T receiver or TV tuner. Power the antenna with the supplied AC adapter or enable 5 V power output from the DVB-T receiver if supported. After connection, run an automatic channel scan on the receiver to detect available channels.

Recommendations

For best results, install the antenna at an elevated position, away from large metal objects and sources of interference. If reception is weak, try reorienting the antenna or use the receiver power option if the adapter cannot be placed near the antenna.
