The Gigaset E390 is an analog/DECT cordless telephone designed for everyday home use. How to use

Place the base station on a desk and register up to five additional handsets if needed to expand coverage at home. Use the navigation key to access the phonebook, call lists and menu options; large illuminated keys simplify dialling. Select one of the two acoustic profiles in the audio settings and adjust the handset volume in five steps or press the extra loud key for temporary amplification. For emergency setup, assign up to four numbers to the SOS function key; the phone will dial each stored number up to three times until a call is answered. If you have the E390A, access recorded messages via the base station, handset or by secure remote retrieval.

Recommendations

For best reception and lowest DECT radiation, place the base station centrally in the home and keep registered handsets within the specified range; enable ECO DECT when standby radiation reduction is desired. Use the magnifier and contrast settings if visibility is limited, and store frequently used contacts on direct-call keys for quick access.
