Airless Paint Sprayer GRACO GX 21 17G183 with 0.015 in Tip

GRACO GX 21 17G183 is an airless paint sprayer engineered for efficient application of medium-viscosity paints and coatings. Equipped with a 0.015 in tip, the unit produces a defined spray fan and flow rate intended to deliver consistent coverage and faster completion of wall, fence, and surface painting jobs. The sprayer is suitable for contractors and professional users who need reliable, repeatable results on interior and exterior surfaces.

Advantages

The GRACO airless design provides a continuous high-pressure spray pattern that reduces overspray and improves transfer efficiency compared with conventional spray guns. The 0.015 in tip balances flow and atomization to produce a medium-width fan suited to common coating types, enabling uniform coverage on vertical and horizontal surfaces. Durable construction and straightforward controls support extended on-site use and quick setup between jobs.

How to use

Prepare surfaces by cleaning and masking areas not to be painted. Select appropriate paint thinned according to manufacturer recommendations for airless spraying, then fit the 0.015 in tip to the spray gun. Prime the pump following the equipment manual, adjust pressure to achieve an even spray fan and consistent atomization, and test on a scrap surface before starting the main job. Maintain a consistent distance and travel speed to ensure uniform coating thickness across the work surface.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment and follow local safety guidelines for ventilation and overspray control. For thicker materials or heavier-bodied coatings, consider testing higher-pressure settings or a larger tip size; for finer finishes, reduce pressure or switch to a smaller tip. Clean the sprayer thoroughly after use to prevent tip clogging and maintain performance.
