Use the touchscreen to select resolution and stabilization settings appropriate for the activity; choose 5.7K for maximum detail or lower resolutions to extend recording time and reduce file size. For water use, verify that seals and closures are properly engaged before immersion and operate controls as needed via the touchscreen or physical buttons.

Recommendations

For best results, use image stabilization and select higher frame rates during fast motion. Rinse and dry the camera after saltwater exposure and check mounts and seals regularly. When capturing social media content, reframe 360° footage in the companion app to create traditional flat edits or dynamic tracking shots optimized for each platform.
