How to use

Connect the DS8178 to your host via the chosen interface (USB, RS-232) or pair it to a mobile device over Bluetooth following the pairing procedure in the user guide. Aim the scanner at the barcode and press the trigger; the device will decode 1D and 2D barcodes, including multiple codes on a single document when configured. For full-page capture, position the document within the imager field and press the trigger to capture the required data.
