Wired ceiling-mounted passive infrared (PIR) sensor designed for indoor installation. The sensor provides presence and motion detection with two independent channels and an integrated KNX bus coupler. It supports brightness-dependent switching and constant-light control for up to two separate light bands. The compact white housing measures 80 × 80 × 45 mm and is suitable for mounting in ceilings or surface mounting; recommended installation housings are Kaiser HaloX-O or IBTronic H120-68.

How to use

Install the sensor in the ceiling or on the surface according to the recommended mounting method and required hole diameter. Connect the KNX bus line to the bus connection terminal and supply the device with 24 V DC. Configure the two channels and brightness threshold via the KNX system or device settings to enable presence/motion detection and constant-light control. Adjust mounting height between 2 m and 4 m to achieve the specified detection ranges.

Recommendations

For recessed installations in false ceilings, use an installation housing such as Kaiser HaloX-O or IBTronic H120-68 and select appropriate cover plates for the finish. Do not install in British Standard or VDE flush-mounted boxes. Keep the device within the specified ambient temperature range and observe the recommended mounting height for accurate detection.
