Wild Country 40-0000002003-5823-1 Locking Carabiner Set - 6 Pack, Screwgate, Offset D-Shape, Anodized Aluminum, Green/Purple, 27 kN

High on a multi-pitch route above the treeline, every piece of gear must be reliable. The Wild Country 40-0000002003-5823-1 locking carabiner set is built for exactly that moment. This pack includes six screwgate carabiners in green and purple, giving you a ready set for anchors, belays, and critical connections. The offset D-shape balances a wide gate opening with a high strength-to-weight ratio, while the anodized aluminum alloy body shrugs off abrasion and corrosion. Each carabiner weighs only 45 grams, so racking a full set adds minimal burden to your harness.

Why choose it

The screwgate locking system offers a secure, manual closure that you can operate even with gloves on. The anodized finish not only adds colour for quick identification but also enhances durability against repeated rope wear. With a 27 kN major axis rating, these carabiners exceed the demands of sport climbing, trad climbing, and mountaineering. The offset D-shape naturally shifts the load toward the spine, maximising strength while keeping the gate opening generous for easy clipping.

Ideal use cases

• Building top-rope anchors
• Belaying a partner on multi-pitch routes
• Clipping into personal anchor
