The JUNG 2224 WH Silver weather station detects wind speed, precipitation, twilight, temperature and brightness from three directions and is intended primarily for weather-dependent automatic control of shading in residential buildings. It is designed for outdoor installation on a mast or wall and includes integrated KNX/EIB bus coupling. The device evaluates measured data and performs limiting-value processing internally; it also contains self-monitoring functions that report errors to the bus via indicator objects. A built-in heater prevents frost and condensation down to –20 °C and ensures the precipitation sensor dries quickly after rain and melts snow and ice.
