The Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora reservoir integrates a glass tube reservoir with an acetal D5/VPP pump top and lid, and includes a VPP Apex pump. The design combines glass and acetal materials and features 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top plus the Lighttower water effect inside the glass tube, creating dynamic illumination and visible flow effects. The product is supplied with mounting stands and fan/radiator mounting frames for flexible installation inside PC cases.

Advantages

Twelve addressable aRGB LEDs mounted at the lower tube edge produce consistent illumination of the reservoir and work together with the Lighttower water effect to create a distinctive visual accent. The included VPP Apex pump uses a ceramic shaft and externally relocated motor coils for improved stability, reduced vibration and lower power consumption. How to use

Install the reservoir using the supplied stands for bottom-of-case mounting or use the 120/140 mm mounting frames to attach the reservoir to free fan positions, radiator fans or radiator mounts. Connect the 3‑pin JST aRGB cable to a compatible 5 V digital RGB header or controller for lighting control. Mount the VPP Apex pump and connect power via the SATA connector. Connect the pump’s 4‑pin PWM cable to a motherboard or external controller to set pump speed and read RPM. Fill the reservoir following your loop’s filling procedure and orient the riser tube to achieve the desired Lighttower water effect without overfilling the riser tube edge.

Recommendations

Do not fill the reservoir above the top edge of the riser tube if you want the Lighttower fountain effect; adjust flow and reservoir fill level to control the intensity of the effect. Use a compatible 5 V aRGB controller or a motherboard digital RGB header for full LED control. Ensure secure SATA power and PWM connections and route tubing to avoid stress on the glass tube during installation.
