How to use

Switch the tester on and confirm the permanently green LED to ensure the device is ready. Before and after each use, test the tester on a known live voltage source to verify correct operation. Bring the measurement tip close to the conductor, outlet or component to be tested; the LEDs and an audible signal will indicate the presence and relative strength of an alternating electric field. Use the integrated flashlight to illuminate dark measurement points; the flashlight can be switched on or off independently of the voltage detection function.
