Vacuum storage kit ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE 36806-009-0 — 9-piece set

ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE 36806-009-0 — 9-piece vacuum storage kit provides a coordinated set of containers and lids designed to reduce air contact and help extend the shelf life of food. The kit groups multiple sizes in one package to suit different portioning needs, enabling compact stacking and clearer organisation in kitchen cupboards and refrigerators. Components are intended for everyday use in storing leftovers, prepared meals and perishable ingredients while maintaining flavour and texture for longer periods compared with conventional storage.

Advantages

The vacuum storage kit minimises oxidation and moisture loss by removing air from containers, which slows the growth of spoilage organisms and preserves taste and aroma. A variety of container sizes offers flexibility for single servings, batch cooking and multi-ingredient storage. The set is engineered for easy sealing and repeatable use, with lids that lock in a vacuum state to reduce freezer burn and fridge odours. Components are stackable to save space and designed for straightforward cleaning and handling.

How to use

Place cooled food into an appropriately sized container, align and secure the vacuum lid, then remove air using the compatible pump or vacuum device according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the sealing edge is clean and dry before creating a vacuum to achieve an effective airtight closure. After sealing, label containers with contents and date for easy rotation. When reheating, follow safe food-handling guidelines and, if applicable, release the vacuum seal prior to heating according to the container’s heat-resistance instructions.

Recommendations

For best results, cool hot foods to room temperature before sealing, avoid overfilling containers, and check seals periodically. Use separate containers for strongly odorous foods to prevent flavour transfer, and follow care instructions for cleaning and storage to preserve sealing performance.
