The APC Smart-UPS Line Interactive 750VA Lithium-ion Rack/Tower 2U (SMTL750RMI2UC) is a compact rackmount UPS convertible to tower use that delivers pure sine wave output to protect critical IT and network equipment during power disturbances. Rated at 0.75 kVA (600 W) and equipped with a lithium‑ion battery, the UPS supports remote monitoring and management via SmartConnect, SmartSlot network cards and compatibility with EcoStruxure IT or other centralized platforms. How to use

Install the UPS in a 2U rack space or convert to tower using stabilizing feet (SMTL2USF sold separately). Connect incoming AC power to the IEC 320 C14 input and attach critical devices to the six IEC 320 C13 outlets. Configure network management by installing an optional Network Management Card in the SmartSlot or by enabling SmartConnect to link the UPS with EcoStruxure IT or another management platform. Use the front-panel LCD and management interfaces to monitor load, battery status and event logs.

Recommendations

Place the UPS in a well-ventilated area with ambient temperature within manufacturer limits, perform periodic firmware updates and remote diagnostics, and schedule battery health checks. For tower use, acquire the recommended stabilizing feet (SMTL2USF). Follow graceful shutdown procedures for connected servers using PowerChute Network Shutdown when the Network Management Card is installed.
