How to use

Place the TL-SG1008 on a stable surface or mount it in a standard 19" rack using the supplied brackets. Connect power and plug Ethernet cables from network devices into any of the eight RJ-45 ports; ports will auto-negotiate link speed (10/100/1000 Mbps) and duplex. LEDs indicate link and activity status for basic diagnostics. No further configuration is required for normal operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use good-quality Cat5e or Cat6 cabling for Gigabit links, ensure adequate ventilation around the unit, and place the switch near your network devices to minimize cable length and potential signal loss.
