The ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE Rectangular 2.85 L Grey Transparent box is a borosilicate glass gratin dish designed for storing, baking and serving in the same container. With a capacity of 2.85 L and external dimensions of approximately 200 x 292 x 97 mm, the long, shallow rectangular shape is suited for lasagne, gratins and other baked dishes as well as for marinating and refrigerator or freezer storage. The transparent design allows quick identification of contents, and the dish is made for use with the ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE vacuum pump (sold separately, item 36801-000-0) to extend freshness compared with non‑vacuum storage.

How to use

Place food into the gratin dish and close with the compatible FRESH & SAVE lid. To vacuum‑seal, attach the FRESH & SAVE vacuum pump to the valve on the lid (vacuum pump sold separately) and start the pump; it will extract air and stop automatically when a sufficient vacuum is reached. Use the dish directly in the oven without the lid for baking; allow the hot glass to cool before sealing and refrigerating or freezing. For marinating, vacuum sealing accelerates flavour penetration.

Recommendations

Do not use the lid in the oven. Avoid rapid temperature shocks (for example placing hot glass directly into cold water). Clean glass by hand or in the dishwasher according to the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure the valve and lid are dry before storage. Use only with compatible ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE lids and vacuum pump (item 36801-000-0) to achieve best vacuum performance.
