Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS ONLINE USV-Systeme XANTO 1000R

The ONLINE USV-Systeme XANTO 1000R is a double-conversion (online) uninterruptible power supply with 1 kVA / 1000 W output power, designed for rackmount (2U) or tower installation. It protects servers, network and control equipment, IT hardware and other sensitive applications from power interruptions, voltage fluctuations, peaks and harmonic distortion while providing an uninterrupted transition to battery operation. The unit includes up to 8 AC outlets (C13), a USB port for communications and an internal battery that gives approximately 11 minutes runtime at full load; external battery packs can be added to extend autonomy.

Advantages

XANTO uses true double-conversion technology to fully decouple the load from the mains and guarantees clean, stable output even under extreme mains disturbances. Its DYNAMIC POWER TECHNOLOGY (DPT) supplies more active power (watts) to connected loads compared with conventional UPS systems, allowing use of a smaller model while maintaining required output. How to use

Install the XANTO 1000R in a 19" rack using the supplied mounting angles or place it upright as a tower. Connect protected equipment to the AC outlets and connect the UPS to mains power. Use the front-panel menu or DataWatch software (via RS-232 or USB) to configure shutdown settings, deep-discharge protection and load-shedding behaviour. If remote monitoring or multi-server shutdown is required, install the optional SNMP adapter and configure network settings. To increase runtime, connect compatible external battery packs according to the user manual; the internal charger supports additional packs on model 1000 and higher.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, place the UPS in a ventilated environment within the temperature and humidity ranges specified by the manufacturer, perform regular battery tests, and use DataWatch or RCCMD agent for controlled shutdown of multiple servers. Use the switchable output sockets to prioritise critical loads during battery operation and add external battery packs if longer autonomy is required.
