The Uninterruptible Power Supply CyberPower Tracer III VP1600ELCD-FR is a line-interactive UPS designed for home and office environments. It delivers 1.6 kVA (900 W) output power, five AC outlets, USB Type-B and RS-232 interfaces, and sealed lead-acid battery backup. The unit includes Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to stabilize voltage and GreenPower UPS™ Technology to improve operating efficiency and reduce energy consumption. A multifunctional LCD shows power and battery status, and the UPS supports PowerPanel® software for real-time monitoring and configuration. Data-line protection with high-speed transmission protects phones and network equipment while allowing up to 1 Gbps data throughput.

How to use

Place the UPS on a stable, flat surface in a ventilated area and connect the UPS to the mains supply. Plug your critical devices into the UPS AC outlets and connect the USB Type-B or RS-232 cable to a computer if you plan to use PowerPanel® software for monitoring. Turn on the UPS and check the LCD to verify normal operation and battery status. During a power disturbance, the UPS will supply conditioned power using AVR and switch to battery backup when necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, perform periodic battery self-tests using the UPS controls or PowerPanel® software, avoid overloading the unit beyond its 900 W rating, and replace the sealed lead-acid battery according to the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule or when runtime significantly decreases.
