Trash bin BRABANTIA NewIcon 20 L Jade Green Soft-close

BRABANTIA NewIcon 20 L Jade Green Soft-close is a compact rectangular trash bin designed for kitchens, offices and small spaces. The 20-litre capacity balances storage volume with a small footprint, while the Soft-close lid mechanism ensures quiet, controlled closing. The profile and finish are engineered for daily waste management, hygienic hands-free operation and easy liner replacement.

Advantages

The Soft-close mechanism reduces noise and wear by lowering the lid gently and preventing abrupt slamming. The rectangular shape maximizes usable internal volume while occupying minimal floor space, making it suitable for narrow corners and between cabinets. Durable materials and a smooth finish facilitate cleaning and maintain appearance under regular use. The lid design supports hands-free operation and simplifies liner changes.

Suitable for

• Kitchen waste disposal in homes and apartments
• Office waste management in small workspaces
• Bathroom or utility room use where a compact bin is required
• Areas where quiet closing is preferred, such as shared living spaces

Key specifications

• Capacity: 20 litres
• Shape: rectangular, compact footprint
• Lid type: Soft-close controlled closing mechanism
• Colour: Jade Green finish
• Operation: hands-free hygiene-focused lid design
• Material characteristics: durable, easy-to-clean surfaces

How to use

Place the BRABANTIA NewIcon on a flat, stable surface where the rectangular shape fits the available space. Insert an appropriately sized liner so it sits neatly within the rim; the bin is designed for easy liner replacement. Use the lid as intended for hands-free tipping or gentle closing; the Soft-close mechanism will lower the lid slowly once released. Empty the contents when the liner is full and wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent for routine cleaning.

Recommendations

For best performance, use liners sized for a 20-litre capacity to avoid excess strain on the lid mechanism. Clean the lid hinge and rim periodically to prevent debris accumulation that could affect the soft-close function. Avoid placing the bin on uneven surfaces to maintain stable operation of the closing system.
