Thermal binoculars PULSAR Merger LRF XP35 — hand-held thermal imaging binoculars with integrated laser rangefinder

The PULSAR Merger LRF XP35 is a hand-held thermal binocular that combines a thermal imaging core with an integrated laser rangefinder for simultaneous observation and distance measurement. Its binocular design provides stereoscopic viewing for improved situational awareness and depth perception during nighttime and low-visibility operations. The device is intended for users who require portable thermal detection with the added capability of precise range data in one compact instrument.

Advantages

The binocular format offers natural depth perception and comfortable long-duration observation compared with monocular thermal devices. Integrated thermal imaging enables detection of heat sources in complete darkness and through obscurants such as smoke or light foliage. The built-in laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurement to detected targets without the need for a separate device. Ergonomic hand-held construction and a compact form factor make the unit suitable for field use where mobility and quick deployment are important.

Suitable for

• Wildlife observation and monitoring at night
• Search and rescue operations in low-visibility conditions
• Security and perimeter surveillance
• Outdoor enthusiasts and night-time navigation

Key specifications

• Hand-held binocular thermal imaging configuration for stereoscopic viewing
• Integrated laser rangefinder for distance measurement
• Compact and ergonomic housing designed for field portability
• Suitable for night-time detection of heat-emitting targets and observation through light obscurants

How to use

Hold the PULSAR Merger LRF XP35 with both hands and align the eyepieces to obtain a clear, stereoscopic view. Activate the thermal imaging core to locate heat sources and switch on the laser rangefinder when distance information is required. Adjust focus and settings as needed to optimize image clarity and measurement accuracy. Operate the device according to ambient conditions, allowing short warm-up time if required by the thermal sensor prior to extended use.

Recommendations

For best results, perform initial alignment and focus in a controlled environment before field deployment. Use the binocular mode to maintain situational awareness and rely on the integrated laser rangefinder for precise targeting or distance assessment. Protect the optics and housing from impact and prolonged moisture exposure to preserve sensor performance and measurement reliability.
