Tape Tesa TESA 4688 25 m 50 mm

Tesa® 4688 is a standard polyethylene-coated cloth tape with a 55-mesh woven PET/rayon fabric backing and a pressure-sensitive natural rubber adhesive. Supplied in a roll 25 m long and 50 mm wide, it is intended for general-purpose repair, securing and bundling tasks where strong, waterproof adhesion is required.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust or loose particles. Cut or tear the required length of Tesa® 4688 and apply pressure when positioning to ensure firm contact with the substrate. For best adhesion, smooth the tape from the centre outward and press along the edges. Use additional overlapping layers for greater sealing or strength. Store the roll in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

Recommendations

Use Tesa® 4688 for temporary repairs and sealing; for long-term or structural applications select a tape specifically specified for that purpose. Avoid application on very low-energy plastics unless adhesion is confirmed; test on a small area if necessary.
