tesa® 4934 is a double-sided caoutchouc tape with a fabric backing and a thick, tacky adhesive layer. The tape is white, 25 mm wide and 25 m long, designed for indoor fastening applications where a strong adhesive bond and some flexibility are required.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles before application. Cut the required length of tape, remove the liner and press the adhesive side firmly onto the first surface. Align and press the second surface onto the exposed adhesive, applying even pressure across the bond area to ensure contact. Allow a short time for the adhesive to build initial strength before subjecting the bond to load.

Recommendations

For best results, apply at room temperature on smooth, non-porous surfaces. Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 40 °C and do not use outdoors or on substrates that bleed plasticizers or solvents which can affect adhesion.
