tesa® 4651 is a premium acrylic-coated cloth tape designed for demanding indoor applications. The tape uses a 148-mesh woven rayon fabric backing with a strong natural rubber adhesive, providing reliable adhesion on a wide range of substrates. Available in grey, this roll measures 50 m in length and 50 mm in width and is suitable for tasks that require good temperature resistance up to 130 °C, moderate elongation at break (about 13%) and dependable tensile properties.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or loose particles before application. Cut or tear the required length of tesa® 4651 and press it firmly onto the substrate to ensure full contact. For sealing or bundling, wrap the tape with sufficient overlap and tension to achieve the desired hold. The tape can be written on with common markers for labelling. When removing, pull steadily at a low angle to minimise residue on most indoor surfaces.

Recommendations

For best performance, store the tape in a dry place at room temperature and apply in temperatures above 10 °C. Test adhesion on sensitive or painted surfaces before extended use to avoid surface damage.
