How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from oils or dust. Cut or tear the required length of tesaflex® 4163 and apply it with moderate tension, overlapping each turn by at least half the tape width for secure insulation. Press the tape firmly to ensure full contact of the acrylate adhesive with the substrate. For labelling, wrap the tape neatly around the cable or component and, if needed, mark with a permanent pen.

Recommendations

Do not use for permanent insulation of high-voltage systems where certified insulating materials are required. For maximum outdoor life, avoid continuous exposure to aggressive chemicals and check the tape periodically for wear if used in harsh environments.
