In daily use

After mounting the alarm and inserting three AA batteries, press the button on the remote to arm the system. A 10-second delay gives you time to leave the area. When the PIR sensor detects movement, the siren sounds for about 30 seconds or until you disarm it with the remote. The remote uses three LR44 button cells, which are included, while the main unit's AA batteries are not.
