Surveillance Camera EZVIZ CS-EB8 3MP 4mm IP65

The EZVIZ CS-EB8 3MP 4mm IP65 is a compact surveillance camera designed for reliable indoor and outdoor monitoring. It delivers 3-megapixel video with a fixed 4mm lens and supports H.265 and H.264 compression to optimize storage and streaming. The camera is rated IP65 for weather resistance and is powered by a built-in 10400mAh battery for extended operation. Night-time visibility is supported by infrared illumination up to 15 meters, and recorded footage can be stored locally on a MicroSD card up to 512GB.

Advantages

The CS-EB8 combines moderate-resolution imaging with efficient H.265/H.264 video compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. Its IP65 rating protects against dust and rain, enabling outdoor use in many environments. The integrated 10400mAh battery provides long run times without constant wiring, while 15m IR night vision helps capture details in low-light conditions. Local storage via MicroSD up to 512GB allows for on-device recording without mandatory cloud subscription.

Charge the internal 10400mAh battery fully before initial deployment. Insert a compatible MicroSD card (up to 512GB) for local recording or configure cloud storage if available through the EZVIZ app. Use the EZVIZ mobile or desktop application to connect the camera, adjust image settings, set motion detection zones and schedule recordings. Regularly check battery level and storage status through the app to maintain continuous operation.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, mount the camera under an overhang when possible to reduce direct exposure to driving rain. Position the camera so the main subjects are within the 15m IR range for effective night-time capture. When installing in remote or temporary locations, verify Wi‑Fi signal strength or consider alternative network arrangements to ensure stable connectivity. Periodically export or back up important footage from the MicroSD card to prevent data loss.
