How to use

Install the varistor module in the distribution panel at the designated socket for fourth-step protection, directly ahead of the device to be protected. The module must be connected to the protective earth conductor (yellow-green) as part of a three-wire system. If the module experiences an extreme overvoltage event, it may become damaged and the green status LED will switch off. In that case, replace the detachable surge protection block with a new compatible module; the distribution panel will continue to operate but without surge protection until replacement.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the module status LED and replace the varistor block immediately if the indicator is off or after a known large surge event. Ensure installation and replacement are carried out by qualified personnel and that the protective earth connection is intact.
