The Kärcher Submersible Pump SP 22.000 DIRT LEVEL SENSOR is a powerful dirty-water pump designed for fast and reliable drainage. It features an adjustable level sensor that starts the pump upon contact with water and stops it automatically 15 seconds after the water level falls below the sensor. The pump handles solids up to 30 mm and delivers up to 22,000 l/h. Constructed with a stainless steel housing, slide-ring seal and integrated stainless steel prefilter, the unit is intended for heavy-duty applications such as pond emptying, flooded basements and construction pits. Quick Connect allows connection of 1", 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" hoses, and a 10 m cable offers flexible placement. How to use

Place the submersible pump in the water to be drained, ensuring it sits on a stable surface. Connect a compatible hose to the Quick Connect thread (1", 1 1/4" or 1 1/2") and route the discharge to a suitable drainage area. Set the level sensor to the desired activation height; the pump will start automatically when the sensor contacts water and will stop 15 seconds after the water drops below the sensor. For continuous pumping, switch to Manual/Automatic and select Manual. Ensure the power supply matches local requirements and observe cable routing to avoid damage.

Recommendations

For long service life, remove large debris from the work area before operation and inspect the stainless steel prefilter periodically. Do not run the pump dry. For very coarse solids or heavy debris, consider pre-cleaning and use appropriate hoses and fittings. Follow all local electrical safety regulations when connecting the pump.
