The unit includes a Bowens S-type mount for attachment of a wide range of light modifiers and a radio remote for off-camera brightness control.

How to use

Mount the Niova 100 Plus onto a standard lamp tripod or ceiling mount using the 5/8" (16 mm) spigot. Fit the provided Bowens reflector or another compatible light modifier by attaching it to the Bowens S-type bayonet. Power the unit from a 220–240 V, 50 Hz outlet. Adjust brightness either via the illuminated controls on the fixture or with the radio remote; choose a channel and pair multiple units to synchronize settings. Use the soft diffuser for softer near-field lighting or the reflector for more directional output.

Recommendations

For portrait work, start with the light set to 5600 K and adjust intensity between 30–70% depending on subject distance and other lights. When combining several Niova Plus units, set different channels to avoid interference and use the Bowens mount to add softboxes or grids for controlled light shaping.
