Stand for Basketball Hoop Salta Guard 138 x (296–371) x 240 cm, model 5134

The Salta Guard stand for basketball hoop model 5134 is a metal support structure designed to hold a basketball backboard and hoop. The stand measures 138 x (296–371) x 240 cm, with an adjustable horizontal span to accommodate different backboard sizes and mounting positions while maintaining a fixed height and depth. Built for outdoor installation, the frame provides stable support for recreational and training play in yards, schools, and community spaces.

Advantages

The steel construction offers durability and resistance to regular use. The adjustable horizontal length allows flexible placement of the backboard to suit court layout or space constraints. The fixed height and depth dimensions simplify installation planning and ensure consistent playing geometry. The design focuses on load-bearing stability and straightforward attachment of a backboard and rim.

How to use

Position the stand on a level surface and mark mounting points according to the adjustable horizontal span required for the chosen backboard. Secure the base and vertical supports following the manufacturer's mounting instructions and use appropriate anchors for the installation surface. Attach the backboard to the support frame at the selected span, then fix the hoop to the backboard. After assembly, verify stability and tighten all fasteners before use.

Recommendations

For safety and longevity, install the stand on a stable, flat foundation and use anchors appropriate to the substrate (concrete, asphalt, or compacted base). Regularly inspect welds, bolts, and attachment points for corrosion or loosening, and tighten or replace components as needed. Avoid modifications that alter the load-bearing structure and follow local safety guidelines for sports equipment.
