Install the M.2 NVMe SSD into an available M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot on your motherboard following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and standard electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions. After physical installation, use the BIOS/UEFI to verify drive detection, then initialise and format the drive in your operating system. For data migration, performance tuning and firmware updates, install and run Samsung Magician software.
To achieve optimal performance, install the SSD in a PCIe 4.0 compatible M.2 slot, keep system firmware up to date, and use Samsung Magician to apply the latest optimisations and firmware. Ensure adequate cooling in systems with sustained heavy workloads to maintain thermal control and consistent throughput.
