Sony SRS-XV800 is a portable wireless party speaker delivering powerful 360° sound and deep bass with MEGA BASS. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it offers long battery life, integrated wheels and handles for easy transport, multi-colour lighting that syncs to music, and inputs for microphones or instruments. The speaker supports TV connection via optical cable and Party Connect to synchronise sound and lighting across multiple compatible Sony speakers.

Advantages

The SRS-XV800 provides omni-directional party sound so listeners receive consistent audio quality anywhere in the room. X-Balanced Speaker Units and five tweeters (front and rear) ensure clear vocals, defined high frequencies and strong bass, with an extra boost available through the MEGA BASS button. Up to 25 hours of battery life keeps playback going for extended periods, and quick charging delivers approximately 3 hours of playtime from a 10-minute charge. The speaker is portable thanks to built-in handles and sturdy wheels and features an IPX4 water resistant rating for light splashes. Integrated multi-colour lighting synchronises with the music and can be customised via the Sony | Music Center app. Dual inputs allow connection of up to two microphones or a microphone and a guitar, while Party Connect lets you link up to 100 compatible Sony Bluetooth speakers. Bluetooth Fast Pair and a USB playback port provide simple, immediate connection to smartphones and USB sources; the speaker can also charge a connected phone.

How to use

Place the SRS-XV800 on a stable surface or move it using the built-in handles and wheels. Turn the speaker on and connect a playback device via Bluetooth (use Fast Pair on compatible Android devices) or plug a USB drive into the playback port. For TV audio, connect the included optical cable to the TV’s optical output and select the appropriate TV audio settings. Adjust sound settings, lighting patterns and other options in the Sony | Music Center app. To use microphones or a guitar, connect them to the dedicated inputs and adjust volume or effects on the speaker or through connected devices. Press the MEGA BASS button when additional low-frequency emphasis is desired. Recharge the speaker as needed; a 10-minute quick charge provides around 3 hours of additional playback.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the speaker charged before extended use, place it centrally for true 360° sound dispersion, and use the Sony | Music Center app to fine-tune audio and lighting. Avoid exposing the speaker to heavy rain despite its IPX4 rating and secure cables when connecting external devices.
