Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.
Know our brand? Leave an honest review, send us a screenshot, and pick a free gift — shipped free of charge within 1–2 business days.

The OnePlus Nord 5 pairs a large 6.83" 2800 x 1272 AMOLED display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB storage to deliver a high-performance mid-range smartphone experience. It features a dual rear camera system with a 50 MP main sensor, a 5200 mAh battery with 80W charging and Bypass Charging, Android 15 with OxygenOS 15, and support for Dual SIM 5G connectivity. The device includes advanced cooling, a 144 Hz refresh rate display with Aqua Touch, and AI capabilities such as Google Gemini and OnePlus AI tools.

Advantages

The Nord 5 offers extreme-FPS gaming performance and sustained multitasking thanks to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, large VC cooling and DDR5X memory. The 144 Hz AMOLED display provides smooth visuals for gaming and video playback, while the 5200 mAh battery and Bypass Charging reduce heat and help preserve long-term battery health. Integrated AI features (AI Eraser, AI Perfect Shot, AI Reflection Remover, AI Reframe) and Google Gemini increase productivity and simplify photo and text tasks. The phone supports fast wired charging (80W) and records 4K 60 FPS video for high-resolution capture.

Suitable for

  • High-frame-rate mobile gaming (PUBG, CODM, Free Fire MAX)
  • Multitasking: navigation, calls, gaming and AI processing simultaneously
  • Content creation: 4K 60 FPS video and Live Photo capture
  • Everyday productivity with on-device AI, translation and note saving

Key specifications

  • Display: 6.83" (17.4 cm) AMOLED, 2800 x 1272 pixels, 144 Hz, Corning Glass
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
  • Memory & Storage: 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512 GB internal storage
  • Camera: Dual rear camera, 50 MP main; front camera 50 MP

  • Connectivity: 5G Dual Nano SIM, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC
  • Dimensions & weight: weight 211 g
  • Protection & repairability: IP65, Repairability class B

How to use

Power on the device and follow the on-screen setup to sign in with your Google account and restore or transfer data. Insert Dual Nano SIM cards for cellular service and connect to Wi‑Fi for updates. Use the display refresh rate and performance settings in system display or battery menus to balance smoothness and battery life. When gaming or running heavy tasks, enable performance mode if needed and ensure the phone is placed where airflow is not obstructed to allow the VC cooling system to work effectively.

Recommendations

To extend battery lifespan and reduce thermal throttling during extended gaming sessions, use Bypass Charging when playing while plugged in, enable any provided battery-care features, and avoid keeping the battery at 100% for prolonged periods. Use the AI camera tools to remove reflections or unwanted objects and the Google Gemini and OnePlus AI features for translation, search and organization tasks.
