Shubb C8B Partial Guitar Capo for Acoustic and Electric Guitar - Brass

The Shubb C8B Partial Capo offers a unique approach to guitar playing by covering only three strings (A, D, and G), enabling creative tunings, open voicings, and drone notes that are impossible with a standard full capo. Crafted from polished brass, this capo combines durability with a classic look, while the patented roller design and adjustable screw ensure precise, buzz-free tension on both steel-string acoustic and electric guitars.

Highlights

• Partial capo covers 3 strings (A, D, G) for alternate tunings and drone effects
• Solid brass construction with polished finish for lasting performance
• Patented Shubb roller mechanism for smooth, even pressure
• Adjustable screw allows fine tension control without retuning
• Non-marring rubber pad protects your guitar's neck and finish
• Quick release design for fast repositioning during performance

In daily use

The C8B excels in creative playing styles. By fretting only the A, D, and G strings, you can achieve open tunings like DADGAD or create droning effects while leaving the low E and high strings open. The capo's low-profile design stays out of your way, and the smooth roller action makes it easy to slide into position. Whether you're exploring folk, Celtic, or experimental music, this capo opens new sonic possibilities.
