How to use

Select a T-STAR plus bit and a suitable cordless or corded driver. Position the screw perpendicular to the workpiece and apply steady pressure while driving at a moderate speed. In many wood types the 4CUT point permits screwing without pre-drilling; however, pre-drill pilot holes when working near edges, in very hard or brittle wood, or when exact alignment is required. Use the MULTI head feature to achieve flush countersinking where needed.

Recommendations for use

For best results, test on a scrap piece of the same wood to verify that pre-drilling is unnecessary and to set driver torque. When fastening into metal or very hard substrates, reduce speed and check that the screw head seats properly to avoid damage to the driver bit or workpiece.
