The Fischer 564168 kit contains 25 EasyHook screw-on angled hooks and compatible wall plugs designed for use with a 6 mm drill hole. Intended for substrates such as autoclaved aerated concrete, brick, concrete, gypsum fibre board and plasterboard, the kit converts ordinary screws into angled hooks that can be quickly installed and adjusted for optimal positioning. The hook adapter fits over a countersunk screw and is installed with a cordless screwdriver; glass-fibre reinforced plastic construction provides high load capacity and a secure hold.

How to use

Place the EasyHook adapter over the countersunk screw, insert the screw through the hook and drive it into the substrate with a cordless screwdriver; the hook can be held in place without manual support. For installation in wood, the shaft area of the eye or round hook can be broken off to ease fitting. Once the screw is nearly fully seated, turn the hook left at the predetermined breaking point to release and align it, then tighten as required. The screw-in depth determines the final distance of the hook from the wall. For EasyHook Round and Loop, fit the cover cap onto the screw head from behind for a clean appearance.

Recommendations

Use the recommended 6 mm drill hole and at least 40 mm drilling depth for secure anchoring in masonry and concrete. Select the appropriate plug type (DuoPower or DuoBlade) for the substrate; in wood, plugs are not required. If removal is needed, the hook can be unscrewed easily with a cordless screwdriver.
