SAVIO RC-23 Universal IR Wireless Remote Control for TCL TVs — 19 buttons, 10 m range

The SAVIO RC-23 universal IR wireless remote is designed as a replacement remote for TCL TVs, providing the same basic functions as the original handset. The compact black remote features 19 press buttons, supports control of one device and operates via infrared signalling with an effective range of up to 10 m. It does not include a backlight or a rechargeable battery and is intended for standard TV control tasks.

Advantages

The RC-23 offers a durable construction and ergonomic shape with rounded edges and wear-resistant buttons for comfortable everyday use. It arrives ready to use — just insert batteries and begin controlling your TV. Shortcut keys give quick access to popular streaming services, and the product is made using recycled materials with biodegradable cardboard packaging.

Suitable for

• Replacing a lost or broken TCL TV remote
• Basic TV control: power, volume, channel and menu navigation
• Launching streaming apps quickly via dedicated shortcut buttons

When it may not be suitable

The RC-23 is not suitable if you require backlit buttons for use in the dark or a rechargeable battery option. It supports only one device and relies on infrared, so it requires line-of-sight to the TV and will not work through walls or without a direct path to the IR receiver.

Recommendations

Store the remote on a flat surface or in a drawer when not in use, replace batteries as needed to avoid leakage, and keep the IR transmitter and the TV receiver clean for consistent performance.
