Satellite dish Megasat 80 cm grey 0500238 — parabolic antenna 80 cm

Megasat 80 cm grey (parabolic antenna) is a compact satellite dish intended for receiving satellite television signals. With an 80 cm reflector diameter and weather-resistant finish, this grey parabolic antenna is designed for outdoor installation on homes and small commercial buildings. It accepts a standard LNB mount and is compatible with common satellite tuners and receivers, providing focused reception to improve signal quality where space or mounting options are limited.

Advantages

The Megasat 80 cm grey dish offers a balance of compact size and directional gain suitable for many reception locations. Its parabolic reflector concentrates incoming signals to the LNB, improving signal-to-noise ratio compared with smaller or non-parabolic options. The durable outdoor construction and neutral grey finish reduce visual impact on façades while resisting weather effects. Designed for standard LNB attachment, it simplifies installation and replacement of front-end components.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the Megasat 80 cm dish on a stable wall bracket or mast with clear line of sight to the target satellite arc. Attach a compatible LNB to the provided bracket, tighten fastenings to prevent movement, and run coaxial cable from the LNB to the satellite receiver. Use a satellite finder or signal meter and adjust azimuth and elevation until the receiver indicates optimal signal quality. Once aligned, secure all bolts and weatherproof cable connections to prevent moisture ingress.

Recommendations

For reliable reception, choose a mounting location with unobstructed view of the sky in the satellite’s direction, avoid nearby large reflective surfaces, and use good-quality coaxial cable and connectors. Periodically inspect the dish and LNB for corrosion or misalignment after strong wind or heavy snow and tighten or replace components as needed.
