How to use

Connect the eSATAp end of the cable to the computer or enclosure eSATAp port and the SATA 22‑pin end to the internal SATA connector of the 2.5" or 3.5" drive. If the eSATAp port provides 12 V, the drive will receive power through the cable and no separate power supply is required. If the port only supplies 5 V, the cable will provide 5 V suitable for 2.5" drives; a 3.5" drive will require an external 12 V power source.
