Sanding net Bosch Expert M480 2608900710, 80 grit, hook-and-loop compatible, for M480 multiholder

The Bosch Expert M480 sanding net with 80 grit is an abrasive replacement designed for use with M480 multiholder sanding systems. Its open-net construction limits clogging and enhances dust extraction for steady sanding performance. The net is intended for material removal and surface preparation on wood, painted surfaces and similar substrates, providing uniform abrasive action and quick attachment via hook-and-loop compatible fastening.

Advantages

The open-net design promotes efficient dust extraction and reduces clogging, which helps maintain cutting performance during prolonged use. The 80-grit abrasive provides a balance between material removal and surface finish suitable for preparing substrates prior to finishing. Compatibility with hook-and-loop fastening systems enables fast, secure changes and stable mounting on the M480 multiholder.

Suitable for

• Removing old paint and varnish from wooden surfaces
• Leveling and shaping wood and composite materials
• Preparing surfaces before priming and painting
• Sanding between coats and smoothing rough substrates

Key specifications

• Abrasion grade: 80 grit for medium-coarse material removal
• Construction: open-net abrasive for improved dust extraction
• Fastening: hook-and-loop compatible for quick attachment
• Intended substrates: wood, painted surfaces and similar materials
• Form factor: net sheet designed to fit M480 multiholder systems

How to use

Fit the sanding net onto the M480 multiholder according to the multiholder instructions, ensuring the hook-and-loop surface aligns and the net is mounted flat and secure. Operate the sander at recommended speeds for the material being worked on, apply steady, even pressure and move the sander along the workpiece to achieve uniform removal. Regularly check the abrasive surface for wear and replace the net when cutting performance decreases or the open-net becomes filled with debris.

Recommendations

For best results, use appropriate dust extraction while sanding to preserve the open-net performance and extend abrasive life. Begin with 80 grit for initial material removal and follow with finer grits for smoother finishes when preparing surfaces for painting or lacquering.
