Sanding disc kwb Quick-stick 22.5 cm Aluminium oxide for Wood Plastic, diameter 225 mm, is designed for sanding hardwoods, softwoods and various paints and plastics. The disc has an aluminium oxide abrasive coating with stearate treatment to reduce clogging and a phenolic resin bond on a reinforced fabric backing. It is punched and intended for use with random orbit sanders. Pack contains 5 discs.

How to use

Select the appropriate grit disc for the task and ensure the sander is compatible with 225 mm quick-stick/hook-and-loop discs. Firmly press the disc onto the sander’s pad so it is centered and secure. Start sanding with moderate pressure and keep the sander moving to avoid creating uneven spots. Regularly inspect the disc for clogging or wear and replace when abrasive performance decreases.

Recommendations

For best results on resinous woods and painted surfaces, choose a coarser grit for initial material removal and step to finer grits for finishing. Use steady, overlapping passes and avoid excessive pressure to prolong disc life and obtain a uniform surface.
