Salomon X Ultra 5 GTX Men's Hiking Shoes - Coffee/Walnut/Arabian - EU 47.5

Where most hiking shoes force a choice between agility and protection, the Salomon X Ultra 5 GTX refuses to compromise. Built on the legendary X Ultra lineage, this men's shoe sharpens every edge for mixed technical terrain. A precise SensiFit™ construction wraps the foot from midsole to laces, while the Contagrip® MA outsole bites into wet rock, loose scree, and root-strewn paths. The coffee, walnut, and arabian colourway keeps a grounded, trail-ready look that hides dirt between cleanings.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX® waterproof membrane keeps feet dry in rain, puddles, and mud without trapping heat.
• Contagrip® MA outsole delivers dependable grip on mixed surfaces, from hardpack to slick stone.
• EnergyCell™ midsole and Advanced Chassis™ work together for cushioned landings and stable push-offs.
• Protective toecap and high foot protection shield against rocks, roots, and trail debris.
• SensiFit™ system cradles the foot from midsole to laces for a secure, custom-like fit.

In daily use

Step into the X Ultra 5 GTX and you’ll notice the immediate sense of control—the OrthoLite® diecut sockliner adds step-in comfort, while the 11 mm heel-to-toe drop keeps your stride natural on long ascents. At roughly 475 g per shoe, it’s light enough for fastpacking yet substantial enough for multi-day loads. The synthetic and textile upper resists abrasion and dries quickly, and the regular lacing system lets you fine-tune tension across the instep.
