Why choose it

The Wildfire GTX bridges the gap between hiking boot and climbing shoe. Its suede leather and microfiber upper offers durability without sacrificing flexibility, while the EVA midsole absorbs shock on long descents. The precise Alpine Fit and climbing lacing give you confidence on exposed ridges and technical scrambles, and the GORE-TEX membrane keeps your feet dry through stream crossings and sudden showers.

Ideal use cases

• Technical approach routes and alpine ascents
• Via ferrata and aided climbing
• Scrambling and rocky hiking trails
• Everyday mountain use in wet or variable conditions

Good to know

Salewa's 3F System connects the instep, sole, and heel for a secure, supportive fit, while the MFF+ footbed allows you to fine-tune the volume. The full rubber rand protects the shoe from abrasion on rough rock, extending its life. The Pomoca Speed MTN outsole is engineered for optimal grip on both dry and wet rock, making it a reliable choice for technical approaches in any weather.
