Salewa Wildfire 2 Approach Shoes Men's Raw Green/Black EU 43

Technical terrain demands footwear that balances precision, grip, and comfort. The Salewa Wildfire 2 answers with a climbing-inspired design that excels on rocky approaches, scrambles, and hikes. Its suede and microfiber upper, reinforced by the Exa Shell 3D cage, wraps the foot securely, while the Pomoca Speed MTN outsole delivers reliable traction on both rock and trail. The 3F System locks the heel in place, and the climbing lacing extends to the toe for a customizable, adaptive fit. With an 11 mm drop and Ortholite footbed, these shoes provide cushioning and support for long days in the mountains.

Tips

For the best fit, try the shoes with the socks you intend to wear on technical approaches. The climbing lacing allows fine-tuning from toe to ankle, so adjust it to secure your foot without pressure points. After use on wet rock, allow the shoes to air dry away from direct heat to preserve the suede and outsole performance.
