We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.

The Salewa MTN Trainer Mid GTX is a high-performance hiking boot designed for alpine trekking, via ferrata, and demanding mountain hikes. Combining durability, comfort, and waterproof protection, this boot features a 1.6mm suede leather upper with a highly wear-resistant fabric and a 360° full rubber rand for exceptional abrasion resistance. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining ensures breathable waterproofing, keeping your feet dry in wet conditions while allowing moisture to escape. The Vibram® WTC outsole provides reliable traction on mixed terrain, while the Bilight midsole and dual-density expanded PU offer excellent cushioning and stability. The Climbing Lacing system allows precise fit adjustment, and the 3F System connects the lacing to the sole for a secure heel hold. The MFF+ footbed accommodates different foot shapes for personalized comfort. With an 11 mm heel-to-toe drop and a standard fit, these boots are ideal for technical approaches and long days on the trail.
