Roll Paper Canon IJM021 – 91 m length, 91.4 cm width, 90 g/m²

Canon IJM021 roll paper is a medium-weight, large-format inkjet paper intended for general-purpose printing tasks. The roll measures 91 m in length and 91.4 cm in width, with a paper weight of 90 g/m². It is compatible with wide-format inkjet printers that accept 91.4 cm rolls and is suitable for producing posters, proofs, layouts and other prints where a neutral, reliable paper base is required.

Advantages

This roll paper provides a consistent surface and uniform weight across long runs, reducing the need for frequent media changes during high-volume or long-length jobs. The 90 g/m² weight balances rigidity and flexibility, allowing for smooth feeding in wide-format printers while keeping material costs moderate. The 91.4 cm width aligns with common wide-format roll standards, enabling straightforward installation and alignment in compatible printers.

Suitable for

• Poster printing for indoor display and short-term use
• Proofs and color checks in prepress and design workflows
• Layout and draft prints for architecture, engineering and graphic design
• General-purpose wide-format inkjet jobs that require medium-weight paper

Key specifications

• Roll length: 91 m
• Width: 91.4 cm
• Paper weight: 90 g/m²
• Paper type: inkjet-compatible, uncoated/neutral surface for versatile use
• Intended use: wide-format printing, posters, proofs and layouts

How to use

Install the Canon IJM021 roll according to the wide-format printer manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the roll is mounted squarely and the paper feeds smoothly into the printer. Select the appropriate media type/profile in the printer driver or RIP to match a medium-weight inkjet paper; if available, choose a neutral or plain paper setting to obtain accurate color rendering for proofs and drafts. Adjust print resolution and ink settings based on the intended output: higher resolution for final proofs and lower draft settings for layout checks to save ink and time.

Recommendations

Store rolls horizontally in a dry, temperature-stable environment away from direct sunlight and humidity. Allow the paper to acclimate to the printing room for several hours before use to prevent feeding issues. When producing archival or long-term display materials, consider a heavier or coated paper alternative; for routine posters and proofs, the 90 g/m² weight offers an economical balance between cost and print quality.
