The REINER SCT cyberJack RFID komfort USB-C is a high-security desktop chip card reader that combines a contact card slot with an integrated RFID/NFC contactless field, an illuminated LC display and a secure PIN pad. It is designed for the German electronic ID card (eID/nPA), secure online banking and qualified electronic signatures, and connects to the computer through a modern USB-C interface.

How to use

Connect the reader to a free USB port using the USB-C cable and install the REINER SCT driver for your operating system if required. For online identification, start AusweisApp (or another supported eID client), place your German ID card on the contactless field or insert the chip card, and follow the prompts. The reader displays the requesting party and the requested data; confirm by entering your PIN directly on the device keypad. For online banking, select the cyberJack reader in your banking software and enter the PIN or confirm the chipTAN on the device rather than on the PC.
