Raynox HD-3037PRO Semi-Fisheye 0.3x Lens Adapter — Wide-Angle Conversion for Cameras

The Raynox HD-3037PRO Semi-Fisheye 0.3x is a screw-on wide-angle adapter designed to convert compatible camera lenses into a semi-fisheye lens with a 0.3x magnification. It provides an expanded field of view for landscape, architectural and creative photography and video without requiring a change of the primary lens. The adapter mounts to the front filter thread of a compatible lens and is engineered to deliver consistently wider perspectives while maintaining a compact, lightweight profile for easy use in the field.

Advantages

The Raynox HD-3037PRO offers a significant increase in horizontal and diagonal coverage compared to the native lens focal length, enabling broader compositions from the same shooting position. Its screw-on design makes attachment and removal quick and secure, preserving lens alignment and focus operation. The adapter is constructed to retain image quality and minimize vignette on compatible lenses, and its compact form factor keeps additional equipment weight low.

Suitable for

• Landscape photography requiring wider vistas
• Architecture and interior shots where a broader field of view is needed
• Street and travel photography seeking creative wide-angle perspectives
• Video recording when a wider capture area is desired without lens changes

Key specifications

• Optical type: semi-fisheye wide-angle adapter
• Magnification factor: 0.3x
• Mounting: screw-on attachment to compatible front filter threads
• Compatibility: designed for use with lenses matching the adapters thread size and optical design
• Construction: compact, lightweight optical element for field use

How to use

Align the adapters thread with the front filter thread of a compatible lens and rotate until it seats securely. Check focus and framing after attachment; some lenses may require slight refocusing when the adapter is in place. For best results, use manual or autofocus as normally set on the primary lens and verify the edges of the frame for vignetting or distortion before critical shooting. Remove the adapter by unscrewing when returning to the original focal coverage.

Recommendations

Use the Raynox HD-3037PRO on lenses whose front thread size and optical characteristics are supported to minimize vignetting and preserve image sharpness. When shooting landscapes or interiors, allow for the wider framing by checking foreground elements and composition. For video, confirm autofocus behavior and stabilisation performance after attachment and secure the adapter to avoid rotation during movement.
