Ravensburger painting kit CreArt Do it together – Crocodile (children’s joint painting set)

Ravensburger 25865 is a boxed children's casting and painting kit designed for ages 7 and up that combines simple casting with painting activities. The set enables individual and group creative work: users can cast shapes and then paint finished pieces or work on a shared segmented crocodile motif where each participant paints a section. Materials are selected for use by children and adults, making the kit suitable for family sessions, classroom projects, workshops and hobby use while supporting the development of fine motor skills and color practice.

Advantages

The kit supports collaborative and independent creative processes by providing clear segments and ready-to-paint parts that do not require prior painting experience. Components are prepared to be easy to handle for school-age children and adults; paints and brushes are chosen to simplify color application and brush control. The crocodile motif and separate castable elements provide both a focused subject for group artwork and standalone pieces for individual decoration.

Suitable for

• Family craft sessions and parent–child activities
• Classroom art projects and school groups
• Community workshops and team-building creative events
• Birthday parties and group gatherings with a creative focus

Key specifications

• Theme: Crocodile motif divided into multiple paintable segments
• Set type: Combined casting and painting kit with option for collaborative segmented painting
• Recommended age: 7 years and older (suitable for children and adult supervision)
• Contents: Pre-printed or pre-shaped segments/panels, casting pieces and painting media with brushes (contents may vary by edition)
• Intended use: Indoor creative activities such as classrooms, workshops, hobby tables and family living rooms

How to use

Open the boxed set and identify the contents: casting materials and the paintable segments or cast pieces. If casting is required, follow the included instructions for mixing and pouring, allow cast parts to dry and finish any recommended curing time. Prepare a protected workspace, distribute individual segments or cast pieces among participants and provide access to water for brush cleaning and paper towels. Paint each section using the provided paints and brushes, working from lighter to darker tones where appropriate. Once painted parts are fully dry, assemble or display the completed crocodile image or the finished cast pieces according to the template or numbering supplied.

Recommendations

Use washable paints and protective aprons for younger users. Arrange participants so adjoining segments can be compared during painting to keep color transitions consistent, and allow sufficient drying time before joining or handling pieces to avoid smudging.
