The Akpo WK-5 Soft 50 inox cooker hood is a stainless steel kitchen hood designed for ducted or recirculating extraction. It includes an integrated motor, aluminium and carbon grease filters, front lighting with two 2 W bulbs, and a scrollbar control. With a compact footprint of 50 x 50 cm and a height without chimney of 22 cm, the hood delivers up to 156 m³/h extraction and has an energy efficiency class C.

How to use

Install the Akpo WK-5 Soft 50 according to the manufacturer's instructions for either ducted or recirculating configuration. Connect the hood to power and, if using ducted extraction, attach appropriate ducting to the top exhaust. Use the scrollbar control to select fan speed; the low setting reduces noise while the high setting increases extraction. Replace or clean the aluminium grease filter regularly and renew the carbon filter when odour reduction diminishes.

Recommendations

For best performance and lower noise, operate at the low or medium setting for routine cooking and switch to high only for heavy frying or strong odours. Clean the stainless steel surface with non-abrasive cleaners and follow filter maintenance intervals specified by AKPO.
