Radio-controlled glider Madej 011971 lightweight design, easy to fly

Madej 011971 lightweight design, easy to fly is a radio-controlled glider designed for hobby pilots who need a portable, stable platform for outdoor soaring and practice flights. The model emphasizes simple handling, low weight, and predictable glide behavior to make learning basic RC flight maneuvers and thermalling easier. Its compact assembly and balanced aerodynamic profile provide steady performance in light to moderate wind conditions.

Advantages

The glider's lightweight construction reduces launch effort and decreases stall speed, improving slow-flight stability while extending glide time. Easy-to-fly control characteristics allow newcomers to focus on basic piloting skills without requiring advanced trims. Portability and straightforward assembly make the model suitable for quick setup at flying sites. The overall design delivers reliable, docile handling and consistent responses to common transmitter inputs.

Suitable for

• Beginner RC pilots learning basic flight controls and launch techniques
• Recreational soaring and park flying in light to moderate wind
• Practice sessions focused on thermalling and glide planning
• Portable field use where easy assembly and transport are priorities

Key specifications

• Type: Radio-controlled glider with fixed wing
• Design: Lightweight airframe optimized for slow flight
• Control: Conventional elevator and rudder or combined control surfaces suitable for basic RC transmitters
• Assembly: Quick assembly with detachable wings for transport
• Flight characteristics: Stable glide, forgiving stall behavior
• Recommended conditions: Best performance in calm to moderate winds
• Portability: Compact when disassembled for easy carrying to flying sites

How to use

Before the first flight, verify that control surfaces respond correctly to transmitter inputs and that control linkages are secure. Assemble the wing and attach any required fasteners according to the included mechanical fittings. Use a fully charged compatible battery and confirm center of gravity by balancing the model as instructed in the manual; adjust battery position if necessary. Perform a range check with your transmitter and conduct a short, low-altitude test flight to trim the controls and confirm stable behavior. Practice gentle launches and gradual climbs until comfortable with the glider's responses.

Recommendations

Operate the glider in open areas free of obstructions, avoiding strong gusts and turbulent conditions. For beginners, fly with a spotter or under supervision, start with short flights to build trimming and landing skills, and store the model in a dry place to preserve the lightweight airframe.
